Kindly peruse the reply of AEE/EE., the industry is using water for domestic purpose @ 6.75 KLD and domestic effluent has been discharged onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank. Entire cooling water has been recirculated @ 73.25 KLD. The industry has obtained permission for abstraction of ground water from Punjab Water Regulation and Development Authority (PWRDA) vide no. PWRDA/07/2021/L2/150 dated 14/07/2021. There is no violation under the provision of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.
Further, the approval has already been granted by the CEE(B) vide note dated 28.03.2024. the case was forwarded to decide the bank guarantee to be imposed and it has been proposed to impose BG amounting to Rs 5.00 lakh as is proposed in the hearings before Worthy Chairman please.
