• The industry stored some quantity of gypsum & fly ash outside its storage shed and also the internal roads were found dust laden…………….
• Accordingly, show cause notice before refusal of consent to operate under the Air Act, 1981 was issued to the industry along-with an opportunity to submit written reply in the matter, within 10 days…………….
• The industry submitted its reply in the matter, wherein it has been stated that no material is stored outside the shed and the house keeping is now being maintained……………
• To check the compliance at site, the industry was visited by EE along-with AEE on 26.04.2024 and it has been observed that no raw material was lying outside the shed and the material which was found stored earlier has been lifted. Further, mechanical sweeping machine for cleaning of road was in operation the road cleaning using was ongoing during visit and that the internal movement roads were not having any visible deposition of the dust/ raw material………………………
• In view of above, if approved, consent to operate under the provisions of Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for a period upto 31.03.2029 subject to the following specific conditions:
1. The industry will operate its APCD efficiently at all times so as to achieve the emission standards at all times.
2. The industry will get its air emission sample analysed form the Boards Lab/approved Lab of the Board as per the policy of the Board.
