• The application has been examined and found as under:-
1. The industry was granted NOC with one of the specific condition that the industry will ensure to discharge its entire treated effluent onto land for plantation only, for which the industry will arrange adequate land to be developed under plantation for disposal of treated effluent, well before applying for obtaining 'consents to operate' under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981. Now the project proponent has submitted a written agreement executed on stamp paper between the industry & the owner of the land area measuring 31 kanal 17 marlas for disposal of treated effluent w.e.f. 01.04.2024 to 31.03.2029, however no registered lease deed executed………….
2. While obtaining ' consent to establish' (NOC), the project cost including land, building and plant & machinery is Rs. 23.0 crore. Now the project proponent has submitted a CA certificate dated 21.03.2024, wherein the land has been shown taken on lease and the total assets mentioned are Rs. 14.64 crore...............
• If approved, the Regional office be requested to clarify regarding the reduction in the value of the project cost and to obtain registered land deed from the project proponent for disposal of treated effluent to further process the application. |
