1. It is intimated that the industry is a small scale green category unit.
2. Now the industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS of the Board.
3. The industry has already deposited Rs. 327000/- vide R. no HDFCR52022070580196980 dated 05.07.2022 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, Rs. 327000/- vide R. no HDFCR52022070580192954 dated 05.07.2022 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Rs. 21600/- vide R. no N186222025764769 dated 05.07.2022 as NOC fee, adequate upto 30.06.2033 (after deducting penalty and balance fee).
4. The industry has submitted a copy of land use classification from DTP, Kapurthala vide no. 1750/DTP(K)/SSV-1 dated 16.01.2017, as per which the site of the industry falls in industrial zone.
5. To verify the facts, the industry was visited by EE alongwith AEE of this office on 30.04.2024 & observed that:-
1. The industry is in operation during the visit.
2. The industry has engaged in manufacturing of rail coach parts.
3. The industry has installed only fabrication machinery.
4. No trade effluent is generated in the premises of the industry. Only domestic effluent is generated which is treated in septic tank and is discharged onto land for plantation.
5. The industry has installed one D.G. set of capacity 20 KVA with canopy and adequate stack height.
Recommendations:-
Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 31.12.2032 with suitable condition.
