in compliance of hearing decision, The industry was visited by the officer of this office on 18.04.2024 and it was observed as under: - 1. The industry was in operation and is engaged in zinc plating process. 2. The industry is located in designated area i.e. focal point, Phase-6. 3. The industry has made an agreement with M/s JBR Technologies Pvt. Ltd., D260-261, Phase-8, Focal Point, Ludhiana for lifting of trade effluent @ 2000 ltr/month dated 06.04.2024. 4. The industry has provided water meter at the source of fresh water supply and the reading noted was 10.79 KL. 5. The industry is now maintaining the record regarding the total fresh water consumption viz-a-viz effluent lifted. As per record the industry has consumed fresh water @ 10.79 KL and industry has lifted out 10.0 KL during this period. 6. The industry has also provide storage tank of 2000 ltr capacity and approx. 200 ltr lying stored. 7. The industry has now provided pucca floor/impermeable floor beneath the polluting process area. 8. The industry has submitted MSME certificate as a proof of date of commissioning i.e. 01.02.2023. 9. The industry has submitted an approved building plan from Competent Person approved by Director of Factories. 10. The industry is located in designated industrial zone i.e. focal point, Phase-6 as per Master Plan Ludhiana. The industry is now complying with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.
As proposed by RO,it is recommended that Consent to Operate under the Water Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry upto 30.6.2029 with suitable conditions as per policy of Board. Competency : SEE |
