The industry has earlier obtained consent to establish under Water Act,1974 and Air Act,1981 for manufacturing of saila rice alongwith proposal to install ETP alongwith development of plantation area for disposal of treated effluent. However, the industry vide application under consideration has applied for manufacturing of saila rice with no assurance and details as to whether the existing plant and machinery is un capable of manufacturing saila rice.
Issue SCN to the industry for refusal of CTO under Water Act,1974 and Air Act,1981 with an opportunity to explain its position before undersigned on 13.05.2024 ( 11:00 am ).
AEE to meanwhile collect air emission samples of the industry. |
