It is intimated that the industry is a small-scale green category unit and is engaged in manufacturing and finishing of cycle & cycle spare parts @ 7000 Numbers/day using Plastic Granules - PMMA Fresh @ 450 Kgs/day and Master Batch -Colouring Agent Made of PMMA @ 06 Kgs/day as raw material.
Now, the industry has applied for fresh Consent to Operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS. The industry has deposited fee amounting to Rs. 64800/-vide R. No. 311453088 dated 13.04.2024 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 54000/- vide R.no. 549689278 dated 13.04.2024 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 30.06.2028 (after deducting NOC and late penalty fee).
The industry was visited by the officer of this office on 25.04.2024 and it was observed as under:-
1. The industry was in operation.
2. The industry is a small-scale green category industry and is engaged in the manufacturing and finishing of cycle & cycle spare parts @ 7000 Numbers/day using Plastic Granules - PMMA Fresh @ 450 Kgs/day and Master Batch -Colouring Agent Made of PMMA @ 06 Kgs/day as raw material.
3. The industry has installed 06 no. Moulding machines and 07 no. welding machines, Cutting machine, 01 Printing, 01 Extruder machine and 01 Sleeding machine.
4. No trade effluent is generated by the industry and only domestic effluent is discharged into sewer.
5. There is no source of air pollution generated by the industry.
6. The industry has submitted electricity bill as a proof of date of commissioning i.e.03.11.2023.
7. The industry is located in designated industrial zone as per Master Plan Ludhiana.
The industry is complying with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 of the Board.
In view of the above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry up to 31.12.2027 with general conditions.
