It is submitted that the industry had submitted request to the Govt. for exemption of EC of Rs. 1.5 lacs imposed on the unit by the Board which was received through Govt. Reference. The reply to the Govt. Reference w.r.t request of the industry was sent to the Govt. intimating that the request of the industry regarding restoration of electric connection will be only considered if the industry submits compliance of decisions of the Board and deposits the EC of Rs. 1.5 lacs .
The industry has been perused several times to deposit EC. But, the industry has not deposited EC on the pretext that it has already faced huge financial losses pertaining to non-operation of the unit since last one year .
