Sir, the point wise reply is as under: -
1. Collect air emission samples of the industry after co-ordinating with team from air lab as the same has not been done even once since commissioning of the unit.
Reply:- The air emission sampling will not be carried out in this season, as the industry is a seasonal industry and this season has been completed. Now, the industry has closed his operations. Thus, the air sampling will be carried out in the coming season.
2. Submit revenue details, map demarcating land area to be reserved for development of plantation for disposal of treated trade effluent.
Reply:- The industry has not increased its land area and revenue details remains same. map demarcating land area to be reserved for development of plantation for disposal of treated trade effluent has already attached in documents.
3. Submit calculations w.r.t proposed trade effluent effluent generation
Reply : - The industry has proposed to produce parboiled rice@ 1.0 TPH by using paddy 1.5 TPH. Accordingly, 36 KLD trade effluent will be generated in the process. The industry is required to develop 0.5 acre land developed for plantation as per Karnal techonlogy and the industry is bound to provide the green area before obtaining CTOs.
4. Recheck quantity of fuel to be used in boiler. Reported 1.2 TPD is quite less.
Reply : - As per energy calculation, the calorific value of rice husk is 3568 kcal/kg. In this way, the boiler will consume 10.0 TPH fuel per day.
5. Does any HT wire passes through project site ?
Reply : - During visit, no HT wire was found passing through the project site.
Keeping in view of above, it is again recommended that the consent to establish (NOC expansion) for installation of mechanical dryer (2 nos.) and a boiler plant of capacity 6.0 TPH may be granted to manufacture Dry/Steamed rice @ 4.0 TPH and Parboiled rice @ 1.0 TPH by using Paddy @ 7.5 TPH, with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board. The competency for grant of consents/NOC to the rice shellers with or without dryer lies with the Environmental Engineer of the Regional Office.
