The pointwise reply to the clarification is as under-
1. Pl recheck. Is it a case of addition of dryer or/and additional machinery to increase milling capacity. Process accordingly.
Reply- It a case of addition of dryer alongwith additional machinery to increase milling capacity. Further, the rice sheller had obtained consent to establish for expansion in its existing unit vide no. CTE/Exp/SGR/2023/21507960 dated 26/04/2023 valid upto 25/04/2024 for manufacturing of Sorted Raw Rice with Dryer @ 2.0 TPH by using paddy @ 3.0 TPH, with certain conditions mentioned therein.
2. Has the industry upgraded its APCD provided with the shelling/dryer section as per specifications to control the process emission load of the rice sheller for increased production capacity, as proposed while grant of CTE (expansion) ?

3. Has the expansion been made in existing land area ?
Reply-Yes, the expansion been made in existing land area.
Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that varied consent to operate (CTO) under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 may both be granted up to 30/09/2030 (upto adequacy of fee), for the production of Sorted Raw Rice with Dryer @ 2.0 TPH by using paddy @ 3.0 TPH as raw material, subject to the suitable conditions and a special condition that the industry will got analyzed its stack emission sample from Board’s lab or Board’s approved lab in coming season.
