Sir, the point wise reply of the observations is as under:
1. The industry has upgraded its machinery; however, there is no increase in quantity of production as well as pollution load.
2. Water balance/ audit of the industry with record of fresh water consumption as well as disposal of the effluent was carried out from 01.01.2024 to 30.04.2024 and the details are as under:
Water meter reading as on 01.01.2024 is 1182.7 KL
Water meter reading as on 30.04.2024 is 1408.3KL
Water consumed 1.1.2024 to 30.4.24 (four months) is 225.6 KL (225,600 L)-56,400 L/M
Effluent lifted by CETP from 1.1.2024 to 30.4.2024 (four months) is 225 KL (225000 L)-56,250 L/M
One no. storage tank of capacity - 21000 L
Quantity of effluent lying stored as on 7.5.2024 - 7500 L
3. The part of water used for quenching is being utilised for steam and remaining is reused back in process.
4. P-11 polymer is used in quenching and the container of this polymer revert to supplier.
