Sir, the project proponent has applied for extension in validity period Consent to Establish (NOC) under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
The report of RO has been pursued and observed as under:
1. The site is situated on right hand side on Ludhiana-Chandigarh Road at Village Bondli, tehsil Samrala.
2. The Civil Construction of building structure at ground floor has almost been completed and plaster work was under progress. Civil construction work of 2nd floor going on.
3. The civil construction work of STP has not started yet.
4. The project proponent has not developed the Plantation area to dispose of the treated during validity of 'Consent to Establish' (NOC).
5. The project proponent has not intimated the distance of land for discharge of domestic effluent from colony and mode of disposal of effluent.
6. The project proponent has not submitted proposal to dispose off the Municipal Solid Waste Generation from the project.
In view of above, it is recommended that Show Cause Notice for Refusal of Consent to establish (NOC) under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 may be issued to the project Proponent with hearing before CEE Ludhiana, please.
