Sir, the industry was earlier granted consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 dated 30.08.2018 valid upto 30.06.2023 for manufacturing of Ingots @ 45 MTD.
Now the industry has applied for obtaining consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
The industry has applied new consent, as while applying for previous consent, the industry inadvertently filled the number and capacity of furnace wrongly. Now while applying for auto-renewal, the industry was unable to rectify the capacity and number of furnace in application form. So to rectify the previous mistake, the industry has applied for new consent.
The industry has filled online application form, uploaded latest CA certificate, manufacturing process flow chart, detail of addition, DTP letter bearing no. 970 dated 31.03.2014, Analysis report, Site plan location plan.
The adequacy of fee deposited by the industry upto 30.9.2029.
The industry was visited by RO on 30.04.2024 and it was reported as under:- 1. The industry was in operation during the visit. 2. The industry has installed 01 induction furnace of capacity 07 TPH with Bag house as APCD along with adequate stack height. 3. The industry has submitted air emission analysis report from Board's approved lab as per which conc. of SPM is 18 mg/Nm3 against the prescribed limit of 150 mg/Nm3 by the Board. 4. The industry has installed 01 DG set of capacity 125 KVA with canopy & adequate stack height. 5. The industry does not generate any trade effluent. 6. The industry is re-circulating its entire cooling water & domestic effluent of the industry is being discharged onto land for plantation after septic tank within premises. 7. The industry has already submitted building plan prepared by the Competent Authority under Factory Act, 1948. 8. The industry is complying with various provisions of Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981.
In view of above, it is recommended that, Consent to Operate under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2029 with suitable terms and conditions, as per the policy of the Board, please.
