Sir, it is clarified that the industry has proposed to install induction furnace of capacity 500 kg/hour, which will be provided with bag filter house as APCD followed by stack of adequate height. The pollution control arrangements proposed by the industry are adequate and the application can be considered for granted of Consent to Establish from pollution angle.
In view of above, it is recommended that ‘Consent to Establish’ (NOC) under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted for one year with subject to suitable conditions and additional conditions mentioned in earlier note, please.
