It is intimated that the industry is a small scale orange category unit. The industry has applied for fresh of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 along with requisite documents. The industry has submitted approved building plan from architect approved by Director of Factories, Punjab. The industry has submitted electricity bill as a proof of date of commissioning. The industry falls in Industrial zone as per khasra number mentioned in the gazzete notification.
The site of industry was visited by the AEE/JEE of this office on 09.05.2024 and it was observed as under:-
1. The industry was in operation during visit and engaged in tube making process from H.R/C.R coil.
2. The industry has installed one annealying furnace.
3. The industry has installed one D.G set of capacity 320 KVA with canopy and adequate stack height.
4. The industry is discharging only domestic effluent onto land for plantation through septic tank. Cooling water is re-circulated.
5. The industry is complying with the provisions under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981.
Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2026 please.
