Earlier proceedings of the personal hearing before Chief Environmental Engineer, Jalandhar on 01.02.2024 u/s 33-A of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 as amended in 1988 wherein it was decided that:-
1) Directions u/s 33-A of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 & u/s 31-A of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 be issued to industry for not to make any expansion to the adjoining plot without permission of the Board.
2) The industry shall maintain the record of fresh water consumption and trade effluent dispose off to CETP at Ludhiana regularly.
3) The industry shall apply for consents under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 within 10-days.
4) The Regional Office-1, Jalandhar shall visit the industry, verify the compliance made by the industry, verify whether the industry has made any expansion in the adjoining plot and submit report within 01-month.
May if approved RO be requested to submit the compliance of hte above said proceedings please. |
