It is intimated that the industry was granted consent to establish (NOC) under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTE/Fresh/HSP/2019/10710273 dated 14.08.2019 valid upto 13.08.2020 for the production of COOKIES @ 300 Kgs/day breads and savouries @ 200 Kgs/day cakes and pastries @ 150 Kgs/day from raw material Maida @ 400 Kgs/day Sugar @ 200 Kgs/day Fat @ 150 Kgs/day Flavours and Essence @ 25 Kgs/daywith conditions mentioned therein.
Now, the industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The industry has submitted CA Certificate, earlier granted NOC, site plan.
The unit has deposited Rs. 42000/- vide UTR No. 518198191 dated 01.02.2024 and Rs. 42000/- vide UTR No. 754040102 dated 01.02.2024 including penalty. The fee deposited by the unit is adequate upto 31.12.2027.
The industry was visited by JEE (OS) of this office on 13.05.2024 and observed that the unit was in operation. The unit has installed 01 no. oven and used fuel as LPG alongwith adequate stack height. The unit has installed DG set fitted withcanopy and adequate stack height. The domestic effluent is discharged onto land for plantation after septic tank. The unit has provided oil & grease for the trement washedwater generated from the kitchen and same is discharged onto land for plantation.
In view of above, if approved, it is recommended that the consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 31.12.2027 with suitable terms and conditions and with special condition that the unit shall submit effluent analysis report from the Board' Lab within 03 months. The industry shall comply all the the guidelines issued by CPCB/PPCB.
