Sir, The industry has not increased its land area and revenue details remains same. map demarcating land area to be reserved for development of plantation for disposal of treated trade effluent has attached in documents. The land reserved for the plantation area is vacant and no industrial activity is being carried out at the said land.The industry has proposed to produce parboiled rice@ 1.0 TPH by using paddy 1.5 TPH. Accordingly, 36 KLD trade effluent will be generated in the process. The industry is required to develop 0.5 acre land developed for plantation as per Karnal techonlogy and the same will be adequate.
Keeping in view of above, it is again recommended that the consent to establish (NOC expansion) for installation of mechanical dryer (2 nos.) and a boiler plant of capacity 6.0 TPH may be granted to manufacture Dry/Steamed rice @ 4.0 TPH and Parboiled rice @ 1.0 TPH by using Paddy @ 7.5 TPH, with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board. The competency for grant of consents/NOC to the rice shellers with or without dryer lies with the Environmental Engineer of the Regional Office. |
