The industry is small scale green category unit.
The industry has applied for Consent to Establish' (NOC) under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 through OCMMS of the Board for Poultry farm chicks @ 18000 Numbers/Day, detail of the application is as under:
1. The industry has submitted the sitting guidelines certificate issued by Naib Tehsildar dated 24.04.2024 which is reproduced as under:-
Distance from specific points are required to be given by the Revenue Department Report regarding distance from proposed boundary of the poultry farm from Revenue Department. Sitting Criteria as per PPCB
Distance from residential zone 580 mtr 500 mtr
Distance from major water course like River, Lake and Canals 200 mtr 200 mtr
Distance from any major drinking water reservoir on catchment Side 200 mtr 500 mtr
Distance from any drinking water source like wells, summer storage tanks, other tanks 500 mtr 100 mtr
Distance from nearby poultry, dairy or another livestock enterprises or industry 500 mtr 500 mtr
Distance from National Highway (NH) 150-200 mtr 150-200 mtr
Distance from State Highway (SH) 100 mtr 100 mtr
Distance from rural Road/s/internal roads/village pagdandis. Distance from village/nearby village Lal Lakir, Lal Dora, village Phirni is 580 mtr 10-15 mtr
2. The industry has deposited Rs. 2200/- R. No. N123243014646434 dated 02.05.2024 as NOC Fee.
3. The industry has submitted registry of the land, proprietorship certificate, site plan cum location plan with the application.
The industry was visited by officers of this office on 13.05.2024 and it was observed that:
1. The proposed site is a empty plot and no construction work has been start at site till date.
2. The industry has proposed to install 03 no. DG sets of capacity 10 KVA with canopy.
3. The proposed site is located in village Charar and the abadi of village and school falls within the 500 mtr radios of the proposed site. The industry is not meeting with sitting criteria for new poultry farms framed by PPCB.
4. The poultry farm is not complying with sitting guidelines criteria framed by the Board for poultry farm industry.
The industry is a small scale green category and the competency to decide such type of cases lies Environmental Engineer.
Keeping In view of above, it is recommended that Consent to Establish (NOC) under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be refused.
