It is submitted that the present application pertains to expansion of existing CETP being carried out by SPV created for treatment of effluent from member industrial units of Leather Complex at Jalandhar. The said application cannot be considered as a project undertaken by any investor in the State as not being undertaken by any private enterprise and the application needed to be decided at Board’s Level, being a ‘Public Utility’ service, as per approval already accorded by CEO, PBIP for processing of such cases at Board’s level on OCMMS. Also, whilst applying for application, a special window has been designed by NIC team wherein if selected that the project pertains to 'Common Effluent Treatment Plants for treatment of Industrial Effluent', then the application is redirected to OCMMS of PPCB for processing at Board's level.
As such, the present application has been received and being processed through OCMMS of the Board.
If approved, the application be sent back to RO for processing through the competent authority of the Board. |
