It is intimated that the industry has applied for obtaining consent to establish (NOC) under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, under Green Category through OCMMS with required documents for establishment of unit of Steeping and processing of grains i.e. Dried Maize @ 205 MT/day by using Maize @ 216 MT/day as Raw Material.
The industry has deposited Rs. 8,400/- vide Receipt No. 684863888 dated 29/04/2024 as consent to establish (NOC) under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, which is adequate for One year.
As per project report submitted by the industry it has proposed to install one no. unit comprising close loop husk fired furnace which is further connected with dryer. Hot air being generated from the furnace will be passes through the dryer for drying of maize. No additional APCD is required with the system.
The industry has submitted Lease Deed for 10 years commencing from 15/04/2024 valid up to 14/04/2034, Undertaking reg Proprietorship by Smt. Harpriya Rana, site plan/location plan, Service Agreement between proprietor i.e. Smt. Harpriya Rana & M/s Buttar Biofuels Private Limited and Brief Project Report.
The industry has also submitted report issued by Tehsildar, Baba Bakala Sahib dated 22/04/2024 and as per report khasra no. the site of the industry falls outside the MC limits and there is no Gurudrawa/Mandir/ School/Residential Colony/Lal Lakir within 500 meters. The industry has also submitted the pointwise reply of the previously raised observations.
Further the industry has also submitted an Undertaking that the site is suitable as per Master Plan (2010-2031) of Amritsar.
As per siting criteria framed by the Board, the site of the industry seems suitable for setting up of the unit, considering report issued by Tehsildar, Baba Bakala Sahib dated 22/04/2024.
In view of the above, if approved:
1) The consent to establish (NOC) under the provisions of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the industry under Green Category for One year i.e. up to 30/04/2025 with usual terms and conditions and special condition that the industry shall not discharge fugitive emissions/trade effluent from its premises.
2) A copy of consent to establish (NOC) granted under the provisions of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, may be sent to The District Town Planner, Amritsar with request to submission of comments on the suitability of the site and objections if any within 15 days period.
