It is submitted that the industry has applied obtaining fresh consent to operate under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS with required documents for production of Die Punching Machine using Pig Iron & Hardcoke Scrap @ 96 MT/Year.
Detail of the case are as under: -
1. The unit has submitted latest CA Certificate having total value of fixed assets Rs. 97.14 Lakh as on 23.04.2024. Accordingly, it has deposited Rs. 28000/- vide UTR No. 36151693901DC dated 02.05.2024 and Rs. 1400/- vide UTR No. 36151815231DC dated 02.05.2024 as consent fee under Water Act, 1974, Rs 28000/- vide UTR No. 36165813891DC dated 03.05.2024 and Rs. 1400/- vide UTR No. 36165834031DC dated 03.05.2024 as consent fee under Air Act, 1981 Rs 500/- vide UTR No. 36151784661DC dated 02.05.2024 as application form fee and Rs. 5600/- vide UTR No. 36151756161DC dated 02.05.2024 NOC regularization fee, which it is adequate upto 30.09.2029 under both Acts.
2. The unit has submitted a completion certificate issued by Punjab State Council for Science and Technology, Chandigarh vide no. 651 dt 16/01/2024 that the cupola furnace having melting capacity less than 3T/hr has installed as per the technology evolved by Punjab State Council for Science and Technology, Chandigarh.
3. The unit has been established and is in operation at Industrial Focal Point, Mehta Road, Amritsar. The industry has submitted a copy of lease of the conveyance issued from Estate officer, PSIEC, Chandigarh to M/s Alliance Industries, Plot No. 388 (P), Industrial Focal Point, Amritsar. Further the industry has submitted documents regarding transfer of Industrial Focal Point, Plot No. 388 (P) issued by Estate officer, PSIEC vide no. 21325 dt 19/10/2016 in the favor of Sh. Simranjit Singh share holder of M/s Friend Engineering Exports.
4. The unit has submitted registered deed, GST certificate and site plan etc.
The industry was visited by officer of this office on 15.05.2024 and it was observed as under:-
1. The industry was not in operation at the time of visit.
2. The industry has installed one no. cupola furnace which was equipped with wet cap as APCD. Wet cap was connected with water recirculation pipeline with water circulation tank and same was found operative at the time of visit.
It is further submitted that the unit falls in orange category in Small Scale sector and competency to decide the case lies with Environmental Engineer of the Board.
In view of the above, may if approved, the fresh consent to operate under the provisions of Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be granted to the unit upto 30.09.2029 for production of Die Punching Machine using Pig Iron & Hardcoke Scrap @ 96 MT/Year with usual terms and conditions. |
