1. It is intimated that the industry is a small scale green category RMC unit.
2. Earlier, the plant was granted consent to operate under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTO/Renewal/KPR/2023/24245829 dated 22.11.2023, valid upto 22.11.2033 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTO/Renewal/KPR/2023/24247921 dated 22.11.2023, valid upto 22.11.2033 through auto renewal module.
3. The plant has already deposited Rs. 64000/- vide R. no N321232742820085 dated 17.11.2023 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 64000/- vide R. no N321232742818998 dated 17.11.2023 & under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981
4. Now the plant has applied for varied consent to operate under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS of the Board.
5. The plant has now deposited Rs. 20000/- vide R. no N114243000455777 dated 23.04.2024 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 20000/- vide R. no N114243000439891 dated 23.04.2024 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through IMPS. The fee adequacy is valid upto 31.12.2033.
6. To verify the facts, the plant was visited by EE alongwith AEE of this office on 15.05.2024 & observed that:-
1. The RMC plant was in operation.
2. Bag filter are provided to avoid blowing of dust.
3. The RMC plant has added one new RMC plant of capacity 100 m3.
4. No residential area is located within 100 meters of the site.
5. The plant has installed one DG set of capacity 200 KVA with canopy & adequate stack height.
Recommendations:-
Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that varied consent to operate under Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the project proponent upto 31.12.2033 with suitable conditions.
