Point wise reply of observations raised by Environmental Engineer, Zonal Office, Amritsar is as under:-
1. The industry has already uploaded copy of NOC granted which is valid upto 19/08/2008. Copy of the same is again attached herewith for kind persual.
2. The industry has not applied for obtaining NOC extension and has applied for obtaining fresh consent under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.
3. The industry has deposited Rs. 8,400/- via Receipt No. 526954442 dated 18/04/2024 as NOC regularization fee and Rs. 34,100/- (including Rs. 500/- as application form fee) via Receipt No. 952224139 dated 03/05/2024 as consent fee under Water Act, 1974 which is valid for further 04 years. It is pertinent to mention here that the industry has submitted date of commissioning of the unit i.e., year 2023 and accordingly industry has submitted NOC regularization fee and consent fee as detailed above.
4. Further, Zonal Office has already approved similar case under the name and style of M/s S.G. Enclave Phase-1 Village Naussehra/Pandori Warraich, Majitha Road Tehsil and District, Amritsar in which the residential colony has obtained NOC from the Board in year 2007 and has obtained consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 for one year period after submitting consent fee of current year only.
5. The project proponent has not submitted analysis report of treated effluent from STP.
As above it is therefore requested that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 may be decided considering above reply of the observations and recommendations already given vide my note dated 09.05.2024 please.
