• The industry is engaged in processing of raw milk @ 2,00,000 ltr/day and was granted 'Consent to establish' (NOC) under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 on 27.06.2023 (valid upto 26.06.2024), subject to one of the specific condition that the industry will ensure to discharge its entire treated effluent onto land for plantation only, for which the industry will arrange adequate land to be developed under plantation for disposal of treated effluent, well before applying for obtaining 'consents to operate' under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981………….
• Now application applied for obtaining fresh CTOs………….
• The assets of the industry while obtaining NOC were Rs. 23.0 crore and now the same has been reduced to Rs. 14.64 crore, however the value of land has not been included in the CA Certificate dated 31.03.2024…………….
• The project proponent has submitted a written agreement executed on stamp paper between the industry & the owner of the land area measuring 31 kanal 17 marlas for disposal of treated effluent w.e.f. 01.04.2024 to 31.03.2029, however no registered lease deed executed………..
• The visiting officer has reported that the industry was visited on 22.04.2024 and found that the ETP of 300 KLD capacity installed and was found in operation, flow meter provided at the outlet of the ETP. Plantation developed in an area of 1.5 acres within the premises and on 31 kanal 17 marlas outside its premises, which is adequate. An Underground pipeline provided for discharge of treated effluent. 02 boilers of capacity 6 TPH (Trima cyclone as APCD) & 1.5 TPH (Cyclone as APCD) installed………………
• As the industry has failed to submit the registered land deed of 31 kanal 17 marlas land area and has also not submitted valid reason decrease in the value of the assets from Rs. 23.0 crore to Rs. 14.64 crore…………….
• If approved, show cause notice before refusal of consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 be issued to the industry along-with an opportunity of personal hearing before the Competent Authority of the Board please…………..
