The report /recommendations of Regional Office be perused. The petroleum storage depot has taken site approval submitted onsite/off site emergency plan, The tanks are yet to be cleaned as such no generation of hazardous waste till date.
May if approved,the renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and under Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted for the period upto 31.03.2026 with suitable conditions and with special condition that:- 1. The industry shall store/dispose off sludge to be generated from cleaning of tanks as per provisions Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) rules, 2016. (Competency Hon’ble Chairman of the Board).
