Discussed.
It is submitted that the industry was earlier violating the provisions of both the Acts as it was operating without valid consents of the Board.
The industry is now complying with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 of the Board. details in note of undersigned dated 09.05.2024.
Further, The industry has also deposited fee amounting to Rs. 108000/-vide R. No. 896762971 dated 03.05.2024 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 126000/- vide R.no 523310670 dated 03.05.2024 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 30.09.2028 (after deducting NOC and late penalty fee).
In view of above, if approved this application of the industry may be considered for grant of consent to operate under both the Acts upto 30.09.2028.
