Discussed in the presence of EE, ZO-2 Patiala and he informed that at first stage, induction furnaces of capacity more than 7 TPH are being pursued by the Board to install adequate and appropriate mechanism to capture and treat secondary emissions being generated during melting process. In present case, the capacity of the furnace 4 TPH and at this stage, the said furnace are not being perused by the Board to install the mechanism to capture and treat secondary emissions. However, a condition has been imposed to the effect that the industry shall submit proposal/ feasibility report to install adequate and appropriate mechanism to capture and treat secondary emissions to be generated during melting process. A condition may also be imposed that the industry shall be bound to comply with the decision/ directions of the Board to be given in future in above regard for such capacity furnace, please.
