Earlier the industry was granted consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOW/Varied/LDH1/2022/17792358 dated 28.02.2022 valid upto 30.09.2026 and CTOA/Varied/LDH1/2022/17792440 dated 28.02.2022 valid upto 30.09.2026 for manufacturing of Forged Auto Parts @ 70000 Numbers/Day by using of Alloy Steel @ 50 T/day, Alloy & Non Ferrous Steel @ 100 Metric Tonnes/Day.
Now the industry has applied for varied consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for manufacturing of FORGED AUTO PARTS @ 75000 numbers/day by using of Alloy Steel @ 55 T/day, Alloy & Non Ferrous Steel @ 100 Metric Tonnes/Day with installation of 2 nos. new induction heater and one oil fired heating furnace. It is pertinent to mention here that by the installation of induction heater there is only increase in production of forged auto parts @ 75000 numbers/day by only changing one raw material i.e. alloy steels from 50 TPD to 55 TPD and there is no change in other raw material i.e. non-ferrous steel @ 100 MTD.
The industry has filled online application form, uploaded Latest CA certificate, location plan site plan, manufacturing process, compliance of earlier granted consents, DTP certificate bearing no. 1136 dated 19.05.2022.
The industry was visited by undersigned on 20.05.2024 and it was observed as under: -
