Sir, the pointwise reply is as under: -
1) The compliance of EC conditions in annotated form duly verifying by the visiting officer granted by MoEF vide dated 8/5/2008 to the project proponent.
Reply:- The compliance of EC conditions in annotated form and attested by the visiting officer is attached herewith. The non-compliances w.r.t. the EC conditions are as under: -
I. The pp has not submitted latest ground water and soil samples.
II. The pp has not obtained authorization under HWM Rules, 2016.
III. The pp has not submitted permission from PWRDA regarding ground water abstraction.
IV. The dual plumbing has been provided in 5 towers only out of 9 towers.
2) To submit the adequacy certificate of STPs of capacity 250 and 180 KLD installed by the project proponent.
Reply:- The pp has not submitted adequacy certificate of 250 KLD STP. Also the completion certificate submitted by the pp is for 200 KLD instead of 180 KLD for the new STP installed by it.
3) As to whether the project proponent had obtained permission from Punjab Water Regulation & Development Authority (PWRDA) for abstraction of groundwater, if yes, to upload the copy of the same.
Reply:- The pp has not submitted permission from PWRDA regarding ground water abstraction.
4) The project proponent was given personal hearing before the Hon'ble Chairman on 13/3/2024. But, E.E, Regional Office, SAS Nagar has not submitted the compliance of decision no. 4 of the said hearing. Submitted, please.
Reply:- The payment to be made to the Amicus Curiae has been process through separate e-office file.
