Earlier, the Public Sand Mining Site was granted Consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 for operation of site for mining of mineral @ 223124 TPA. Now, the Public Sand Mining Site has applied for same capacity, whereas it has submitted copy of Environmental Clearance (EC) for production capacity of 2,11,255.79 MT (including already extracted quantity of 66,914 MT) @ 48113.93 TPA in an area of 18.21 Hac in the riverbed of River Sutlej, located at Village Adraman, Tehsil- Dharamkot, District- Moga.
Therefore, it is requested to submit reply to the above said observation within 2 days, so the application may be processed further.
