Subject: Opportunity of the personal hearing given by Chairman of the Board on 20.05.2024 w.r.t show cause notice for refusal of consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974- M/s Geesun (India) Inc.,D-263, Phase-8, Focal Point, Ludhiana.
It is submitted that the industry was issued show cause notice for refusal of consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 with an opportunity of personal hearing before Chairman of the Board on 20.05.2024.
However, no one from the industry attended the hearing. The industry has sent an e-mail dated 14.05.2024, requesting for another date of hearing.
After detailed deliberations, the Chairman of the Board decided that another opportunity of personal hearing be afforded to the industry.
