It is intimated that the industry is a small-scale green category unit and is engaged in manufacturing Nut and bolts @ 700Kgs/day by using Round bars @ 800kgs/day.
Now, the industry has applied for fresh Consent to Operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS for manufacturing of Nut and bolts @ 700 Kgs/day by using Round bars @ 800 kgs/day.
The industry has deposited fee amounting to Rs. 6300/-vide R. No. 35854298471DC dated 04.04.2024 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, Rs. 6300/- vide R.no. 35854365301DC dated 04.04.2024 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Rs. 900/- vide R.no. 35854312561DC dated 04.04.2024, which is adequate upto 31.12.2028 (after deducting NOC and late penalty fee).
The industry was visited by the officer of this office on 07.05.2024 and it was observed as under:-
1. The industry was in operation.
2. The industry is a small-scale green category industry and is engaged in the manufacturing of Nut and bolts.
3. The industry has installed power presses and other allied machinery.
4. No trade effluent is generated by the industry and only domestic effluent is discharged into sewer.
5. There is no source of air pollution generated by the industry.
6. The industry has submitted rent deed as a proof of date of commissioning i.e. 01.03.2023.
7. The industry has submitted sewage connection bill vide UID no.B030-06904.
8. The industry has submitted area classification letter vide no. 5398/ATP/B/D dated 06.05.2024 and as per letter the industry is located in industrial zone as per Master Plan Ludhiana.
9. The industry has submitted approved building plan from competent person approved by the Director of factories, Punjab.
The industry is complying with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 of the Board.
In view of the above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry up to 31.12.2028 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board.
