It is intimated that the project proponent has applied for consent to establish (NOC) under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for the establishment of poultry farm at Village Salempur, Hoshiarpur for Chicken @ 10000 No./day.
The project proponent has submitted project report, site plan, distance certificate from SDM, Hoshiarpur bearing R-22 dated 29.09.2023, proprietorship.
The project proponent has deposited Rs. 1900/- as NOC consent fee. The fee deposited by the project proponent is adequate for one year.
Accordingly, the site was visited by AEE (OS) of this office on 21.05.2024 and observed that the site is village Salempur, Hoshiarpur. The site is surrounding agricultural land. No construction acitivites observed during visit. One no. tubewell has already installed by the project proponent. As per application form only domestic effluent will be generated from the unit and same will be discharged onto land for plantation after septic tank.
In view of above, if approved, it is recommended that consent to establish (NOC) under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to project proponent for one year for the establishment of Poultry Form with suitable terms and conditions and with special condition that
1) The project proponent shall comply with the guidelines prescribed for poultry farm.
2) The project proponent shall remove the electric wire passing over the proposed site, if any.
3) The CTE shall be granted on the basis of report of Revenue Department bearing no. R-22 dated 29.09.2023.
4) The project proponent shall not operate the poultry farm without consent to operate of the Board.
