The industry is small scale orange category unit and earlier the industry was visited by the office of this office on 28.03.2024 and it was observed that the industry is operating its unit without consents of the Board………………..
Thereafter the industry was issued show cause notice for violation under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 with opportunity of personal hearing before the SEE, ZO-2, Ludhiana on 13.05.2024, wherein it was decided that EE, Ro-4, Ludhiana shall verify the contentions of the industry and process the consent application applied by the industry on merits…………………………….
Now the industry has applied for fresh Consent to Operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 through OCMMS for manufacturing of Fasteners (Nuts Etc.) EN8D/Special Steel @ 20 MTD by using EN8D/SPECIAL STEEL ROD @ 25 MTD, LDO/HSD/F.O. @ 1 KLD and HSD @ 0.1 KLD………………………
The industry has deposited consent fee, which is adequate upto 30.09.2024…………………………
The industry was visited by the AEE of RO on 07.03.2023 and it was observed as under:-
1. The industry was in operation during visit.
2. The industry has installed 06 no. forging furnace using furnace oil with hood and adequate stack height.
3. The industry has installed 10 no. power press of various capacities and other allied machinery i.e. CNC machines, grinding machines.
4. No trade effluent is generated by the industry and only domestic effluent is being discharged into MC sewer.
5. The industry has installed 01 no. DG set of 125 KVA with canopy and adequate stack height.
6. The industry has submitted udyam certificate as proof of date of commissioning i.e. 01.01.2022.
7. The industry has submitted land use classification approved by the DTP vide memo no. 1144 dated 14.05.2024 and as per DTP certificate the industry is located in industrial zone.
8. The industry is now complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981.
As proposed by Regional Office, if approved that the fresh consent to operate under Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2024 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board.
