Sir,
The industry was visited by undersigned on 22.05.2024 and it was observed that APCD of dryer section was connected and in operation-able condition. Moreover, the industry has submitted feasibility report to upgrade its APCD so as to make adequate for increased capacity. In the last paddy season, air emission monitoring has not been carried out from the stacks of APCDs.
Keeping in view of the above, it is recommended that NOC for expansion may be granted to the industry with condition that the industry shall get its air emission sample analyzed from the Board’s lab from the stacks after APCDs.
