As per the said note the project proponent had applied for obtaining NOC of the Board for dismantling of electronic waste. However, the application was returned due to non-availability of said category in the E-waste Management Rules, 2016.
Now, the project proponent has applied for consent to establish under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for Recycling of Electronic Waste (Electronic & Medical Equipment) @ 3 MTD using Rejected/Scrap Electronic Materials @ 3 MTD as raw material along with requisite document.
If approved, the applications of the industry be forwarded to waste management cell of the Board to get expert opinion on the proposed proposal of the unit of the industry , please. |
