It is submitted that the reply of the observations raised by Zonal Office-1, Patiala has already being provided in the agenda note. The industry has submitted PERT chart of the time line for the completion different activities (Copy of the same is again enclosed herewith).
The industry has sought 15-20 days time to provide complete pavement/concreted of the movement area along railway siding and provide sprinklers on the other side of railway siding to keep the material moist. The industry has assured to provide covered shed for loading/unloading of coal and provide impervious flooring in the area used to store raw material to prevent leaching by August 2024.
The industry has submitted that OCEMS with the stacks of packer section and truck tippler section will be provided and display flow rate of emissions online by July 2024. The industry has submitted detailed PERT Chart to complete the corrective measures to be adopted for mitigation of particulate matter emissions as pointed out in IIT report, which is attached herewith.
Further, the last sampling of the industry was carried out by Board on 07.08.2023 and the analysis results of the same were already processed in the agenda note of previous application of the industry. Further, undersigned have been given additional charge in place of Er. Charanjit Rai, AEE, as per Board’s endst no. 9997-10000 dated 18.04.2024. Moreover, the undersigned is also deputed as Sector Officer for Lok Sabha Election, 2024 by SDM, Kharar vide letter dated 20.12.2023, therefore, due to paucity of time, the sampling could not be carried out, but, the same will be done shortly after elections are over. However, the industry has got carried out sampling from NABL accredited lab and the analysis results have been mentioned in the agenda note (Copy of the same is enclosed herewith).
