As per RO report, the industry has changed its name in the business interest and as per NCLT order, it has changed its name from M/s Hero Cycles Ltd. Auto Rim Division, Chandigarh Road, Focal Point, Phase-8, Ludhiana to M/s Hero Motors Limited, Phase-8, Focal Point, Ludhiana. However, The industry did not change the name in CTO under the Air Act 1981, as per Section 21 (7) of the Air Act, 1981 Now the industry has also requested ( Copy attached ) that it may be granted renewal of consent under the Air Act,1981, and the same may be transferred to its new name i.e. M/s Hero Motors Limited, Phase-8, Focal Point, Ludhiana. It is recommended that first the name and style be changed in Consent to Operate under the Air Act, 1981 vide CTOA/Varied/LDH4/2022/18577327 dated 05.07.2022 from M/s Hero Cycles Ltd Auto Rim Division to M/s Hero Motors Limited, in same address Chandigarh Road, Focal Point, Phase-8, Ludhiana.
In view of above, if approved, consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be renewed to the industry up to 30.06.2027 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board. Competency to decide the application: The Chairman of the Board |
