Sir, it is intimated that a clarification was raised on the application of the industry to submit an Environmental Compensation amounting to Rs. 2.0 lakh within 15 days and to submit a bank guarantee amounting to Rs. 3.0 lakh within 7 days as assurance of compliance with Environmental Laws. However, the industry has submitted an undertaking stating that points no. 3 to 6 are not applicable to them.
If approved, the application of the industry may be sent to the Competent Authority for refusal of consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
