| Clarification Note: |
While scrutinized the case it has been observed that:-
1. The brick kiln has not completely filled the consent application form, as it has not filled the information of Total land area, built up area, land use pattern of the brick kiln and use of Paddy Straw pellets as fuel etc. has not been filled.
2. As per DTP, Ludhiana letter No. 498 DTP(L)B-21 dated 20.02.2014, the operation of brick kiln was valid upto 2021. Hence, further clarification from DTP is required to decide the case.
3. The Brick kiln has Deposited Rs. 18,000/- as Consent Fee. As per MoM taken by Chairman of the Punjab Pollution Control Board on 28.1.2020 in the Committee Room, Vatavaran Bhawan, Nabha Road, Patiala with the Punjab Brick Kiln Association regarding compliance of Govt. orders dated 28.05.2019- The Brick kiln owner is required to deposit the consent fee for obtaining consent to operate under the Water (Prevention& Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 w.e.f. 01.11.2018.
4. In light of Sr.No. (3) above, the Brick kiln is required to deposit consent fee w.e.f. 01.11.2018 alongwith late fee as per Boards circular (copy attached).
