Sir, It is intimated that the industry has submitted compliance report of conditions of previous consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and mostly general conditions complying by the industry as like the industry is operating its APCD on regular basis. The industry was visited on 12.04.2024, during visit on black smoke has been observed and side hood was suction the emission and send to bag filter house for its control and air passing through stack height. The industry was found adopted Standard operating procedure as PSCST, Chandigarh. During visit, air emission sample was carried out and as per analysis report, the concentration of Particulate Matter was 67 mg/Nm3 which is within limits prescribed by the Board. The industry is complying except replacing the bag filter house and is failed to submit feasibility to install air pollution control device to control secondary emissions.
