• Application applied for fresh CTOs under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981……..
• The visiting officer has reported that the hotel-cum-marriage palace has been commissioned, STP provided, which was under stabilization however no effluent at the inlet and outlet of the STP. Plantation developed in an area of 1.25 acres for discharge of treated effluent @ 15 KLD alongwith proper distribution network. Compost pits provided for management of wet solid waste, suction hoods provided in the kitchen section. DG set of capacity 40 KVA and 15 KVA provided with canopy and with adequate stack height. The marriage palace-cum-hotel is complying with the guidelines imposed in the Board's order dated 02.02.2021……….
In view of above, if approved, CTOs under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the marriage palace-cum-hotel upto 30.09.2028, subject to the following special conditions that:-…………..
1. The marriage palace-cum-hotel will ensure compliance w.r.t. the guidelines issued for control of pollution and enforcement of environmental norms at Individual Establishments and the Area/Cluster of Restaurants/ Hotels/Motels/ Banquets issued vide Board’s office order no SEE(HQ-2)2021/64 dt. 02.02.2021………….
2. The marriage palace-cum-hotel shall operate the STP regularly and scientifically and maintain proper record of the effluent generated / treated……
3. The marriage palace-cum-hotel shall ensure no stagnation in the plantation area and will be bound to increase the same, in case stagnation is observed in it at any time…..
4. The marriage palace-cum-hotel shall not throw, burn or burry any solid wastes in open, outside premises or in drain / water bodies………....
5. The marriage palace-cum-hotel shall ensure that there are no usages of single use plastic- thermocol disposable items such as water bottles / water pouches/water cups, plates, forks, spoons, straw etc. and single use decorating material made of plastic-thermocal or any other non-biodegradable material in the premises…….…...
6. The marriage palace-cum-hotel shall ensure the compliance of policy guidelines, building norms (covered area, set back etc.), width of approach road, parking etc. notified by the State Govt. from time to time for marriage palaces….………..
