Sir, the application of the industry has been scrutinized and it has been found that the industry has changed its fuel from Pulverized Coal/Furnace Oil to PNG. However, the industry has applied for renewal consent to operate instead of varied consent to operate.
If approved, the application of the industry may be returned for applying for varied consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
