It is intimated that earlier, the consent to operate under Water (Prevention & control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & control of Pollution) Act, 1981 was granted vide online reference No. CTOW/Fresh/PKT/2023/22127729 & CTOA/Fresh/PKT/2023/22118837 dated 26/05/2023, which are valid upto 30/09/2027 for the production of Washed Crushed Bajri @ 8000 CFT/Day, Washed Sand @ 1000 CFT/Day & Big Boulders @ 1000 CFT/Day by using River Bed Material @ 10000 CFT/day under orange category.
Now, the industry has applied for obtaining fresh consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for the operation of stone crusher through OCMMS in a totally paperless manner by uploading necessary documents as PDF due to change in the interest of operation of business of the firm, which is due to change in its partnership.
The industry has submitted a New Partnership Deed and intimated that the previously the Stone Crusher was being run by partners namely Sh. Raman Bir Singh and Sh. Varinder Singh. Now, the Stone Crusher is run by New Partners i.e. Sh. Kamal Deep Singh S/o Sh. Sh. Prithipal Singh & Sh. Ajay Singh S/o Sh. Prithipal Singh.
The industry has already deposited Rs. 64800/- vide UTR No.
N266222131583304 dated 23/09/2022 & Rs. 54500/- vide UTR No.
N266222131581054 dated 23/09/2022 & now deposited Rs. 22100/- vide UTR No. 948555581 dated 04/06/2024 & Rs. 21600/- vide UTR No. 345852040 dated 04/06/2024 as consent to operate fee under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 including Rs. 500/- as Form Downloading fee against total gross value of fixed assets worth Rs. 22,43,0786.22 as on 31/03/2024 and same are adequate upto 30/09/2029 under both Acts.
As per policy of the Board and in the light of Head Office Order No. 59 dated 02/02/2016, the consent cases of Orange Category units are to be processed without visiting them (Agenda Note is also attached herewith).
In view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention& control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted upto 30/09/2029 with suitable along with special conditions :-
1. The stone crusher shall comply with the orders of NGT in O.A. No 57/2020 or any relevant orders of Competent Authority in related matter.
2. The stone crusher shall maintain the plantation cover around the periphery so as to comply with the code of practice.
3. The stone crusher shall comply with the new Environmental Guidelines for the stone crusher prescribed by the Board.
