It is intimated that the service station was granted consent to establish (NOC) under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTE/Fresh/HSP/2023/20956104 dated 27.05.2023 valid upto 26.05.2024 with conditions mentioned therein. Now, the service station has applied for fresh consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The service station has submitted request letter, CLU from DTP Hoshiarpur bearing no. 977 DTP(H)/RBA dated 17.10.2022 for 2.61 Acres, earlier granted NOC, feasibility report of ETP, Completion Certificate, building plan. The service station has deposited Rs. 90000/- vide UTR No. N134243036584828 dated 13.05.2024 and Rs. 90000/- vide UTR No. N134243036588887 dated 13.05.2024. The fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 30.09.2029. Accordingly, the service station was visited by officer of this office on 21.05.2024 and observed the service station was not in operation. The service station has provided ETP of capacity 15 KLD for the treatment of effluent generated from its washing process and 3.7 KLD will be generated. The components of the ETP are Bar Screen, OiL & Grease Trap, Equalization Tank, Chemical Reaction Chamber, chemical Dosing Unit, Clarifier, Filter Feed Tank, DMF, Activated Carbon filter, Sludge Drying Beds, Pumps. The service station has provided septic tank for the utilization of domestic effluent. The service station has developed the plantation area for the discharge of treated trade effluent which is adequate (Approx. 1 Acre). The service station has provided 01 no. paint booth inbuilt enclosed pollution control system with adequate stack height. The service station has installed 01 no. DG set of capacity 25 KVA with canopy along with adequate stack height. As per DTP, Hoshiarpur bearing no. 977 DTP(H)/RBA dated 17.10.2022 mentioning that the site falls under the notified master plan of Hoshiarpur. In view of above, may if approved, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted for 30.09.2025 with suitable terms and conditions and with specials condition that the service station shall submit the effluent analysis report from Board's Lab within 02 months.
