It is submitted that the unit has been commissioned in January, 2024. The site of the industry was visited by the officer of this office on 4.3.2024 and found discharging untreated effluent directly into the sewer and operating without the consent to operate of the Board. accordingly, directions were issued for closure of unit vide letter no.2088 dated 09.04.2024. Further, TDCO number has been issued by PSPCL Authorities on 23.05.2024, as such the industry operated without valid consent to operate from 01.01.2024 to 23.05.2024.
As such it is proposed that Environmental Compensation may be imposed on the industry for period from 01.01.2024 to 23.05.2024, please. |
