Sir, in the subject cited case, the HCF has mentioned ground water extraction @ 44 KLD. Considering 30 working days per month, ground water extraction will be 1320 KL/month, which is more than 300 KL/month. As such, the HCF requires permission from PWRDA. However, the HCF has not submitted the permission regarding ground water abstraction from PWRDA. The representative informed that the HCF will apply for obtaining permission from PWRDA after the HCF become operational.
In view of above-mentioned facts, if approved, the HCF may be granted fresh consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981, upto 30.05.2025 for operation of 100 bedded hospital with suitable conditions and following special conditions as under:
1. The HCF shall submit permission regarding ground water abstraction from PWRDA within 01 month.
2. This consent is granted on the basis of CLU granted by Local Government, Punjab, CLU, Sanction letter vide memo no. PB/CLU/FAT/GOBIN/753 dated 10.09.2021.
3. The HCF shall operate its ETP-cum-STP effectively and maintain the record of the same.
4. There is no claim of continuation of HCF in present premises on the basis of this authorization. The HCF has to comply with the zoning regulation of master plan & to be shifted from the site as and when asked by the Govt./PPCB/ or any concerned Govt. agency.
5. The HCF shall comply with the laws and bylaws of Master Plan of Mandi Gobindgharh.
6. In case the hospital is found that it has submitted any wrong/ partial/ forged information/ document or any false affirmation, it shall be liable for action as deemed fit by the Board under the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. |
