It is pertinent to mention here that as per the policy of the Board, the plant & machinery is between the slab of Rs. 05-10 Crores therefore the industry is medium scale. However, as per notification of Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises, New Delhi dated 01.06.2020, a small enterprise, where the investment in Plant and Machinery or Equipment does not exceed ten crore rupees and turnover does not exceed fifty crore rupees is covered under small scale. The industry has applied for obtaining CTO under small category as per MSME notification.
