The application of the poultry farm has been scrutinized and it was observed that:
1. Certificate of Revenue Authorities (DC/ADC/SDM) indicating the distance of proposed site of industry from the MC Iimits/Phirni / Lal lakir of the nearest village, in case, the industry is to be established at a site other than the site in the industrial area / industrial estate /industrial zone of the draft master plan / industrial zone of the notified master plan has not been submitted alongwith the documents. CPCB vide its notification no. CPCB/IPC-V/NGT/Poultry/2022/10270 dated 10.01.2022 has issued updated guidelines for poultry farms having birds above 5000. The siting guidelines alongwith code of practice are mentioned in the said notification. It is requested to provide Certificate of Revenue Authorities indicating the distance of site of industry from various geographical indicators mentioned in the said CPCB guidelines and compliance of code of practice mentioned in the guidelines.
2. The classification of land / permissibility from DTP that the site is suitable for operation of poultry farm as per the notified Master Plan of Patiala has not been submitted alongwith the documents.
There is ongoing complaint against the poultry farm and the report has already been sent through e-office for taking action against the poultry farm.
In view of above mentioned facts, if approved, the application of the poultry farm may be returned, please. |
